BECAUSE
In the vastness of our universe
I search
for a truth that is always
just beyond my understanding.
Sometimes a glimmer
like the glitter of a star
will shine with a promise
that eludes me
when I try
to wrap my mind around it.
A reason for everything;
this I accept.
To know the reason
takes me far beyond my depth.
But still I search.
Why?
